ANALYSIS OF EXPERIENCE IN THE USE OF STRIKING SURFACE UNMANNED MARINE VEHICLES (COMPLEXES)

Abstract

The paper examines the stages of historical formation and scientific and technological development of maritime unmanned vehicles (complexes), which allowed them to become modern high-tech weapons, the use of which creates opportunities to gain an advantage at sea over a stronger enemy. The article analyzes the main tasks that can be performed by striking unmanned marine vehicles (complexes). The key factors and advantages of using marine unmanned vehicles (complexes) over the classical fleet are presented. The role of these unmanned vehicles in the modern concept of the navy in ensuring the safety and effectiveness of military operations at sea is considered. The article also describes the facts and circumstances that contributed to the successful use of unmanned maritime vehicles against the ship and boat fleet of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation. The purpose of the article is to analyze and summarize the experience of using unmanned marine vehicles (complexes) in armed combat at sea. The key factors and advantages of using unmanned maritime vehicles (complexes) in comparison with the classical fleet are identified. In the future, the development of the strike capabilities of the Ukrainian Navy should be considered together with the development of anti-ship missiles, unmanned marine vehicles (complexes) and UAVs. The results of the work can be used in the development of guidelines and doctrinal documents on the use of marine unmanned vehicles (complexes) as part of the analysis of the problem.
