THE USE OF SPECIAL TRAINING SYSTEMS DURING THE PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF POLICE PERSONNEL IN INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION OF THE MINISTRY OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS – MARKER TRAINING COMPLEXES

Abstract

The article, based on the analysis of the international experience of the training of policemen and military personnel in fire and tactical special training, considers the issues of organizing practical training and introducing modern special training systems into the educational process of higher education institutions with specific training conditions that belong to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine (marker weapons), as well as the development of such systems by research and design institutions in Ukraine. The history of the emergence of marker weapons as a separate system aimed at improving the training of police officers/military personnel for the use of firearms during fire contact has been studied. Along with this, an analysis was conducted and examples of modern training systems (marker weapons) used in the training of police officers and other agencies abroad were analyzed, as well as the experience of using these systems in practical units of the National Police of Ukraine and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine was analyzed. The principles of operation of marker weapons, the structure of the marker cartridge and the peculiarities of their use, as well as requirements for personal safety measures during the educational process. Particular attention is paid to the key elements of personnel training with the use of marker weapons and the features of conducting practical exercises with specific goals and objectives that allow preparing police personnel to perform official and combat tasks, including during police operations and the performance of tasks during stabilization measures in the de-occupied territories of our country. Along with this, the article draws attention to the comprehensive support and training of the personnel of the units of the National Police of Ukraine, which directly participate in the conduct of police operations and other servicecombat tasks. As a result of the work carried out, it was determined that the improvement of the practical training of police officers and military personnel using modern training systems (marker weapons) during certain educational disciplines is necessary, and the specific advantages of using marker weapons in the educational process of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine were outlined.
