Terms of publication
To publish an article in the scientific journal "Maritime Security and Defense" No 1/2025, it is necessary until January 28 inclusive:
- to fill out the online author information form;
- send the article, designed in accordance with the requirements, by e-mail journals.msd@gmail.com
After successful review, the author will receive the details for paying the publication fee by e-mail. It is absolutely necessary to send a scanned receipt for the payment of the cost of publishing a scientific article.
Academic integrity
The editors of the publication carry out an internal anonymous review of articles and a check for the presence of plagiarism. Articles in the publication are checked for plagiarism using StrikePlagiarism software from the Polish company Plagiat.pl.
After receiving confirmation from the editorial board that the article has been accepted for publication, details for payment of the publication fee are provided.
Prohibition to refer to the aggressor state’s scholarly papers
It is prohibited citing and including in the reference list russian-language contributions published in any country, incl. papers written in other languages but published in russia and belarus.
Publication contribution
The cost of publication is 1300 UAH (for 12 pages). Each additional page is paid separately in the amount of 40 UAH. The publication fee covers the costs associated with review, proofreading and editing of articles, layout of the journal and placement of its electronic version.
If desired, the author of the article can order a printed copy of the journal. The cost of a printed copy is 800 UAH, which must be paid in addition to the publication fee.
The author sends confirmation of the payment (scanned receipt or its photo) in electronic form to e-mail editorial.msd@gmail.com
Publication date of the journal
Journal electronic version will be available on the website on March 30, 2025.
Authors who ordered a printed copy will receive it before April 30, 2025.
